How a gift reaches the game

STEP BY STEP
Getting started
Everything happens from the game's status bar, at the bottom of the app.

The app finds your game
It detects Gravity Circuit in your Steam library. If it lives somewhere else, press «Set path» in the bar below and pick it.

Install the mod in one click
Press «Install mod». The app sets up a launcher and a copy of the game's code with the connector inside. The original executable is not touched.

Open it with «Launch game»
It's the only way to open the modded version. If you open it from Steam, the normal game starts and gifts don't arrive.

Wait for «Connected» and enter a level
The bar below switches to «Connected» once the game starts. Effects apply as soon as you're inside a level.

Choose what each gift does
In «Profiles» create an example one in a click or build your own: each gift, follow or chat command fires the effect you pick.
EFFECTS
What your chat can do
Each effect is assigned to a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
Enemies
Spikey, Lava Crawler, Quake Hammer, Ice Chucker, Virus Battie and the rest of the bestiary spawn next to Kai; or they all get destroyed at once.
Turrets
Boom Turret, Freeze Turret, Omnishot Turret, Bug Dispenser or Missile Platform: they mount on the nearest ceiling or floor and shoot at Kai.

Before you go live
Always open it from the app
From Steam the regular Gravity Circuit starts, without the mod, and the bar stays at «Stopped». Use «Launch game».
Steam open
Even when you open it from the app, the game needs Steam open to start.
Only inside a level
Effects don't apply in the menu: you need to be playing a level.
If Steam updates the game
The modded copy keeps the old code. Use «Reinstall mod», in the ⋯ menu of the bar below, to rebuild it with the new version.
FAQ
No. The original executable stays untouched: the app works on a separate copy of the game's code and opens it with its own launcher.
You opened it from Steam, which starts the version without the mod. Close it and press «Launch game» in the app.
You were probably in the menu. Enter a level: enemies and turrets need Kai on screen.
On the real surface closest to Kai, ceiling or floor, facing him to shoot. Enemies appear a few steps away so they attack right away.
From the ⋯ menu in the bar below, «Uninstall mod»: the launcher and the copy are deleted, and your game is left as Steam installed it.
