What data we collect

OverInteractive runs entirely on your local machine. We do not operate servers that store user data, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.

Connecting your TikTok account (Login Kit)

If you choose to link your TikTok account, the app opens TikTok's official authorization flow in your browser. OverInteractive never sees or handles your TikTok password.

After you authorize, we receive only the following fields from the user.info.profile scope:

• profile_deep_link and profile_web_link: to show a shortcut to your profile inside the app and, optionally, on your stream overlay.
• is_verified: to display the verified badge next to your name on the overlay.
• bio_description: so you can visually confirm you linked the correct account.

This data and the access token are stored encrypted on your own machine. They are never sent to our servers or to third parties, are not used for advertising, and are not used to train artificial intelligence models.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on your machine for as long as the account is linked. You can remove it at any time from within the app using "Disconnect account", or by uninstalling OverInteractive. You can also revoke access directly on TikTok: Profile → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions.

Update checks

The app makes an anonymous request to our CDN (Cloudflare R2) to check whether a new version is available. This request contains no user identifiers and no telemetry of any kind.

TikFinity integration

OverInteractive can connect to the local TikFinity service (localhost:21213) over WebSocket. We do not access or store your TikTok credentials. This integration is separate from the official TikTok login described above.

Game mods

Game mods communicate with OverInteractive locally. No gameplay data is sent to external servers.

Third-party services

TikTok, Twitch, and TikFinity maintain their own independent privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them before using the app.

Minimum age

OverInteractive is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
