A GIFT'S JOURNEY
How a gift reaches the game
Four stops, in under a second.
A viewer sends a gift
From TikTok, Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Starvios: a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
OverInteractive
Receives the event, checks your active profile for the matching effect and sends it.
Hades mod
A mod the app installs in the game folder. It receives every gift while the game is open from the app.
Hades · during a run
The effect shows up in your escape in real time: an enemy in the room, gold on the floor or your weapon swapped.
STEP BY STEP
Getting started
Everything happens from the game's status bar, at the bottom of the app.

The app finds your game
It detects your Steam copy of Hades on its own. If you have it on Epic or in another folder, pick it with «Set path» in the bar below.

Install the mod in one click
Press «Install mod» with the game closed. The app drops the mod in the game folder and adds one line at the end of a game file so it loads, keeping a copy of the original first.

Open it with «Launch game»
This step is required: the mod only connects if the app opens Hades. Opened from Steam or a shortcut, the game runs normally but without effects.
Opened from the app, Hades keeps running even when you switch to OBS or chat.

Get past the start screen
The mod wakes up once you leave the title screen and load your save. Then the bar below switches to «Running · Connected».

Choose what each gift does
In «Profiles» create an example one in a click or build your own: each gift, follow or chat command fires the effect you pick.
EFFECTS
What your chat can do
Each effect is assigned to a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
Zagreus
Heal, hurt, raise max health, Death Defiance, invulnerable, faster or slower, no dash or super dash.
Boons
A random boon, Pom of Power, rarity upgrade… or strip them all.
Weapons
Forced swap to the Stygian Blade, Eternal Spear, Shield of Chaos, Heart-Seeker Bow, Twin Fists or Adamant Rail.
Economy
Gold rain or take gold, and give Darkness, Gemstones, Diamonds, Keys, Nectar or Ambrosia.
Screen
Shake, zoom, slow motion, tints, blur, no HUD or frozen controls for a few seconds.
IMPORTANT
Before you go live
Always open it from the app
The mod can only talk to the app if the app is the one opening Hades. From Steam or a shortcut, the game works but no effect gets through.
In the House of Hades, they wait
Almost every effect needs a run in progress. Whatever arrives while Zagreus is in the House is queued and applied when the next escape starts, one per second.
No gift gets lost
If the game is closed or still on the title screen, effects wait in a queue, even if you close the app, and are delivered in order when it's back.
After updating Hades
If Steam updates or verifies the game, it may remove the line that loads the mod. If it stops connecting, press «Reinstall mod» in the ⋯ menu of the bar below.
FAQ
It copies the mod into the game folder and adds one line to a file to load it, keeping a copy of the original. You can remove it from the app.
Get past the title screen and load your save: the mod wakes up there. If you opened the game from Steam, close it and open it with «Launch game».
If Zagreus is in the House of Hades, the effect is queued and fires when the escape starts. Tell your audience to send effects while you're in a run.
In the ⋯ menu of the bar below, «When effects work».
From the ⋯ menu in the bar below, «Uninstall mod». The mod folder is deleted along with the line the app added to Main.lua, so the game is left as Steam installed it.
