How a gift reaches the game
Four stops, in under a second.
A viewer sends a gift
From TikTok, Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Starvios: a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
OverInteractive
Receives the event, checks your active profile for the matching effect and sends it.
Nocturnal mod
The app installs a mod loader (BepInEx) and the OverInteractive mod in the game folder. The mod runs every effect inside your game.
Nocturnal
The effect hits Ardeshir instantly, anywhere on the island.
STEP BY STEP
Getting started
Everything happens from the game's status bar, at the bottom of the app.

The app finds your game
It detects Nocturnal on Steam by itself. If it lives in another folder, press «Set path» in the bar below.

Install the mod in one click
With the game closed, press «Install mod». The app downloads the BepInEx loader and drops the OverInteractive mod in the game folder, without touching original files.

Open the game and load your save
Press «Launch game» or open it from Steam. The first time after installing it takes longer to start: the loader prepares its files once.

Wait for «Connected»
When the game finishes loading, the bar below switches to «Connected». From then on every gift reaches Ardeshir.

Choose what each gift does
In «Profiles» create an example one in a click or build your own: each gift, follow or chat command fires the effect you pick.
EFFECTS
What your chat can do
Each effect is assigned to a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
The fire sword
Light it or put it out in the middle of the mist, plus endless daggers or consumables for a while.
Ardeshir's health
Heal him, hurt him, stun him, freeze his controls or kill him on the spot. Or the other way round: invincible for a while.
Invisible hero
Ardeshir vanishes from the screen and the streamer has to play blind.
Currency
Give or steal currency from his purse.
The world
Slow motion, hide the whole HUD or an earthquake on the camera.

Before you go live
The first launch is slower
The first time you open the game after installing, the mod loader generates its files and takes much longer than usual. Don't close it: after that it starts as normal.
Effects need Ardeshir on screen
On the title screen and on loading screens there is no hero to act on and the effect is not applied. Fire effects while playing.
Putting out the sword in the mist hurts
Without fire, the mist drains Ardeshir's health. «Put Out the Sword» and «Kill Ardeshir» are for big gifts.
Keeps running in the background
The mod stops the game from pausing when you switch windows, so you can check chat or OBS without freezing your game.
FAQ
It adds the BepInEx loader and the OverInteractive mod to the game folder without touching original files. You can keep playing normally with the mod installed.
Yes. They don't depend on what the level has: they appear next to Ardeshir with their normal health and behavior.
If it's the first time after installing, wait for the game to finish starting. If it still won't connect, close the game and use «Reinstall mod» from the ⋯ menu in the bar.
From the ⋯ menu in the bar below, «Uninstall mod». The OverInteractive mod goes away; the BepInEx loader stays in the folder and, with no mods, the game works as always.
