How a gift reaches the game
Four stops, in under a second.
A viewer sends a gift
From TikTok, Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Starvios: a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
OverInteractive
Receives the event, checks your active profile for the matching effect and sends it.
Pawned Souls mod
The app installs a mod loader (BepInEx) and the OverInteractive mod in the game folder. The mod uses the game's own shop, health and pieces.

The effect lands mid-match and an on-screen notice says who sent it.
STEP BY STEP
Getting started
Everything happens from the game's status bar, at the bottom of the app.

Locate Pawned Souls
Since it isn't on Steam, press «Set up» in the bar below. The wizard looks for it with «Detect automatically» or you pick the folder that holds Pawned Souls.exe with «Choose folder…».
If you downloaded the ZIP from itch.io, extract it first: the wizard needs the folder with Pawned Souls.exe.

Prepare the mod
With the game closed, in the wizard's «Prepare the mod» step press «Install» on the BepInEx loader and then on the OverInteractive mod. No original file is touched.

Open Pawned Souls
Press «Launch game» in the wizard or the bar, or open it as usual. The first time after installing it takes longer to start: the loader prepares its files once.

Wait for «Connected»
When the game finishes loading, the bar below switches to «Connected». Effects land as soon as you start a level.

Choose what each gift does
In «Profiles» create an example one in a click or build your own: each gift, follow or chat command fires the effect you pick.
EFFECTS
What your chat can do
Each effect is assigned to a gift, a follow, likes or a chat command.
Upgrades and gear
Free damage, health, stamina, speed, souls, shield and roll upgrades, or a random one, plus the Gold Sword, the Crimson Sword and the special shield.
Enemies
Spawns pawns, knights, bishops and rooks on the board, fighting like the level's own, and heals wounded pieces.

Before you go live
Only inside a level
Effects act on the board and the pawn: in the menu, on a loading screen or after a checkmate they wait for the match to start.
The first launch is slower
The first time you open the game after installing, the mod loader generates its files and takes much longer than usual. Don't close it: after that it starts as normal.
The levels' pieces
Pawns, knights, bishops and rooks spawn in Path to Queendom and The Kings Gambit. The tutorial only has pawns, so the rest don't show up there.
Not on Steam
The app can't find it in your library: the wizard locates it the first time. If you move the game folder, locate it again from the bar below.
FAQ
Yes. Pawned Souls is a free download from itch.io and OverInteractive is free too.
Nothing is wasted: the command reports that the stat is maxed. «Random Upgrade» only picks stats that can still go up.
Yes. Every applied effect shows an on-screen notice with the viewer's name and the effect.
If it's the first time after installing, wait for the game to finish starting. If it still won't connect, close the game and use «Reinstall mod» from the ⋯ menu in the bar.
From the ⋯ menu in the bar below, «Uninstall mod». The OverInteractive mod goes away; the BepInEx loader stays in the folder and, with no mods, the game works as always.
