Alerts celebrate stream events. In OverInteractive each alert is built from layers: an image, a sound, a text and a voice can all play at once, and lanes keep two alerts from stepping on each other.
Everything it can do
- Combinable layers: image, GIF, video, text, audio and voice.
- Each layer has a fixed type and its own settings; they all play together.
- Lanes (ambient, standard, hero) with independent queues running in parallel.
- Automatic lane based on the event type, or forced manually.
- Per-alert cooldown.
- Search and platform filter.
- Stop all / resume, plus an emergency button.
- Its own overlay to add to your streaming software.
Why layers
A real alert is rarely a single element: it's the GIF plus the sound plus the text with the name of whoever fired it. Treating each element as a single-purpose layer makes combining them direct and predictable.
Lanes: no collisions
Small events arrive constantly and big ones must stand out. Lanes run in parallel with their own queue: an ambient playing doesn't block a hero. Reserve the hero lane for milestones — big raids, expensive gifts, lots of bits.
Step by step
- Create an alert and choose its trigger.
- Add the layers: image, sound, text…
- Pick the lane (or leave it on auto) and the cooldown.
- Add the alerts overlay URL as a browser source.
FAQ
Can I use the viewer's name in the text?
Yes — the text layer supports the name of whoever fired the alert plus the event data.
