Disrupts are visual and audio effects independent of any game: they show up on your screen and, once the overlay is set up, on your stream too. They work on any stream, whatever you're playing — or even if you're not playing at all.
Everything it can do
- Supported media: image, GIF, video, sound and text.
- Built-in search for GIFs (Giphy), clips (Vlipsy) and sounds (MyInstants); everything downloads to your local library.
- Per-disrupt position, size, color, typography and in/out animations.
- Independent duration and cooldown per disrupt.
- Menu-style overlay so the audience knows what they can fire.
- Platform filter and search once the list grows.
- Emergency button to cut everything instantly.
Your screen and your stream
By default disrupts only show on your screen — handy for reacting. To let the audience see them, open the module's overlay panel and add its URL as a browser source in your streaming software.
The disrupts menu
The menu overlay shows which disrupts exist and which gift fires each one. It's the most direct way to raise participation: nobody spends on what they don't know exists.
Local library
Every image, clip or sound you pick is downloaded and stored in your library. It doesn't depend on the external link surviving your stream.
Step by step
- Create a disrupt and name it.
- Pick the media: a file from your library, an online search, or text.
- Set position, size, animations, duration and cooldown.
- Link it to a gift or event from its row.
- Add the disrupts overlay URL to your scene.
