Overlays

Stopwatch

Counts how long you have been live, per session or accumulated, with milestones that fire alerts.

The clock that counts up: how long you have been streaming. It can reset every stream or accumulate hours across sessions, and when it reaches the times you set it fires an alert or a disrupt to celebrate with your audience.

Everything it can do

  • Two modes: per session (back to zero every stream) or accumulated (hours add up across sessions).
  • Configurable initial value: start with the hours you had already been live before opening the app.
  • Your own title above the clock and a red live dot while it runs.
  • Format your way: days, hours, minutes and seconds in any combination, with or without unit labels.
  • Milestones that fire an alert or a disrupt when a time is reached, once or every X.
  • The overlay shows which milestone is next and how long is left.
  • Time tracked in the backend: it will not drift if you reload the overlay.
  • Live style by default plus the rest of the timer presets, all customizable.

Per session or accumulated

In per-session mode the counter goes back to the initial value every time you open the app: one stream, one count. In accumulated mode it keeps the hours, which is what you want for multi-day marathons or monthly goals. In both cases time never advances while the app is closed.

Milestones that celebrate on their own

A milestone is a time (at 4 hours) or an interval (every 2 hours). When reached, the overlay celebrates it on screen and fires the alert or disrupt you assigned, so you do not have to remember mid-stream.

  • At 1 h: a thank-you alert for everyone who has been there since the start.
  • Every 2 h: a break disrupt to stretch your legs.
  • At 6 h: a stream-record alert.

Flexible format

Pick which units show: hours only, hours and minutes, days and hours, everything at once… Automatic mode shows days only once the stream passes 24 hours. You can also use unit labels (12h 04m) instead of colons.

Step by step

  1. Open Stopwatch in the overlays section.
  2. Pick the mode (per session or accumulated) and, if needed, the initial value.
  3. Adjust title, format and style while watching the live preview.
  4. Add your milestones and link them to an alert or a disrupt.
  5. Copy the URL into your streaming software scene.

FAQ

Does it keep counting if I close the app?

No. Time only advances with the app open and the stopwatch running. In accumulated mode it picks up where it left off next time you open it.

I had already been live for two hours when I opened the app, can I fix it?

Yes. Set the initial value (or correct the running time with the add/subtract buttons in the panel) and the clock matches your real stream.

If I add a milestone that already passed, does it fire right away?

No. A new milestone below the elapsed time is marked as already met. Resetting the stopwatch makes every milestone eligible again.
