Connecting TikTok LIVE

Native connection or TikFinity, gift catalog, likes, follows, shares and fan club levels.

TikTok is the platform with the most signals per minute: gifts, likes, comments, follows, shares and fan club levels. OverInteractive receives all of them and makes them available as triggers in any module.

Everything it can do

  • Native connection: just your username, no third-party apps.
  • TikFinity as an alternative source for those already using it.
  • Hot-swap the source from the TikTok chip in the header.
  • Gift catalog with artwork and real coin cost.
  • Detection of which gifts are available in your live and your region.
  • Total-likes and per-viewer-likes events with configurable thresholds.
  • Follows, shares and comments as triggers.
  • Fan club levels (Team Member Level) for the level-up overlay.
  • Automatic reconnection if the live drops.

Native or TikFinity

The native connection is recommended: type your username in the header and connect, with no other app running. TikFinity is still supported if that's your setup; in that case it must stay open on your PC while you stream.

Gifts aren't the same for everyone

The catalog depends on your region and your room. That's why the selector flags out-of-region gifts and the ones missing from the current live: if a trigger only relies on those, it will never fire — and the app tells you.

Likes: thresholds, not single events

Likes arrive in bursts, so the trigger is defined by threshold: every N likes in the room, or every N likes from the same person. That's how the effect feels earned instead of being constant noise.

Step by step

  1. Open the TikTok chip in the app header.
  2. Pick the source: native (type your @username) or TikFinity.
  3. Connect and check the status turns green.
  4. Open the gift selector and review the tab of gifts available in your live.

FAQ

TikTok won't connect — what should I check?

Check which source you're on from the header chip. Native only needs the right username and a running live; with TikFinity, make sure it's open and connected, and restart it if it shows as down.

Can I run TikTok and Twitch at the same time?

Yes. Connections are independent and triggers can mix events from several platforms in the same profile.
