YouTube is OverInteractive's fourth platform and the easiest to connect: no login, no permissions to approve, just your channel's @handle. From there the app reads the chat of your ongoing broadcast and turns Super Chats, Super Stickers, memberships and messages into events that fire exactly like a TikTok gift or Twitch bits.
Everything it can do
- Connects with just the @handle or channel URL: no sign-in, nothing to authorize.
- Finds your live broadcast on its own and starts reading its chat.
- Super Chat and Super Sticker as triggers, by color tier.
- New memberships, milestone months and gifted memberships.
- Chat messages with a keyword, or with any message at all.
- Channel emotes, added by hand using their short name.
- Counts toward goals, rankings, the activity feed, unified chat and TTS like every other platform.
- Runs alongside TikTok, Twitch and Kick in the same profile.
Connecting is pasting your channel
In Settings → Platforms you paste your @handle or channel URL and that's it. The app finds your live broadcast and hooks into its chat. Since there is no session, there is one thing the app cannot do: write in YouTube chat. Everything else — reading, firing, counting — works the same.
Super Chats fire by tier, not by amount
YouTube does not publish the amount as a number: it sends text already formatted in the payer's currency, which can't be compared across countries. What is comparable is the tier, YouTube's fixed seven-color ladder. In the trigger you pick the minimum tier that should fire it, and anything at or above it counts.
- Blue and cyan: the small ones, good for short effects.
- Green and yellow: the middle step, for things that show on screen.
- Orange, magenta and red: save the run-changing effects for those.
Memberships and chat
Memberships come as three separate events: someone joins, someone hits a months milestone, and someone gifts memberships to others. Chat works like on every other platform: with a keyword to request a specific command, or without one so any message counts (the usual setup for counters and TTS).
Emotes have to be typed in
YouTube does not publish your channel's emote list, so the picker can't fill itself. You add them by hand using their short name, exactly as they're typed in chat, and from then on they work like any other trigger.
Step by step
- Open Settings → Platforms and find the YouTube card.
- Paste your channel's @handle or URL and save.
- Go live on YouTube: the app finds the broadcast and shows "reading chat".
- Create a YouTube trigger in your profile (Super Chat, membership, chat or emote).
- Pick the minimum tier if it's a Super Chat, and hook it to a command, an alert or a disrupt.
FAQ
Why doesn't it ask me to sign in like Twitch or Kick?
Because the app only reads your stream's public chat, and the channel is enough for that. The trade-off is that it cannot write in YouTube chat: automatic reply messages from other modules don't go out on this platform.
Can I fire on an exact Super Chat amount?
No, and it isn't an app limitation: YouTube doesn't send the number. Only the color tier arrives, which is the same in every country. That's why triggers are set by minimum tier.
My subscriber goal jumps in odd steps — is it broken?
No. YouTube rounds the public subscriber count (1,230 becomes 1,240), so the bar advances in jumps. For fine-grained progress use a goal scoped to this stream — Super Chats or memberships — instead of the channel total.
