Boss bar: one health bar the whole chat chips away

An animated enemy with shared health and a time limit, where every gift, sub, like or message deals damage.

The boss bar turns your whole stream into a raid: an enemy shows up with a health bar and everything your audience does hits it. What makes it work is that the boss can win — if time runs out with health left, it survives — so the bar isn't a goal in disguise, it's a fight.

Everything it can do

  • An animated enemy that floats, reacts to hits and drops when it dies, or an emoji or your own image.
  • Configurable health and time limit, or no limit at all.
  • Damage per source: coins/bits/Kicks, subscriptions, follows, likes and chat messages.
  • A damage podium showing who's hitting hardest.
  • Hideable pieces: from the full card down to just the enemy and its health.
  • On death, it stays defeated or a tougher one appears, with a health multiplier.
  • A trigger if chat wins and a different one if the boss wins.
  • Manual healing and ending the fight whenever you want.
  • Custom enemy size, always kept inside the source.

Tuning damage is tuning the fight

Every source has its own factor, and at zero it stops doing damage. That's where the whole design lives: for a money fight, raise coins and lower everything else; to let people who can't pay take part, give chat some value — but keep it low, or the boss falls on its own before anyone notices.

  • Coins, bits and Kicks: the main route.
  • Subscriptions and follows: big, occasional hits.
  • Likes and messages: the trickle from people who don't spend.

Let the boss win

The time limit is what creates tension. If the bar doesn't reach zero in time, the boss survives and fires its own trigger. Having two different endings — one if chat wins, one if the boss does — is what turns the bar into a story with two possible outcomes.

Chaining bosses

With "another one appears", every kill brings a tougher boss and the streak becomes the stream's scoreboard. It's the marathon variant: there's no ending, there's a record.

Step by step

  1. Open Boss bar in the overlays section and add the source to your scene.
  2. Name it and pick the enemy (animated, emoji or your own image).
  3. Set the health and the time limit.
  4. Under Damage, tune each source's factor with your audience in mind.
  5. Under Ending, choose what happens on death and tie the triggers for both outcomes.
  6. Hit "Summon boss" when you want the fight to start.

FAQ

The source is empty

The boss doesn't appear until you summon it. You add the source to the scene once and it waits there.

The boss dies in thirty seconds

Raise the health or lower the damage per chat message, which is the one that runs away from you on a busy stream without you noticing.

Does it look right in vertical?

Yes. The enemy size is custom but the source rules: it never exceeds half its height, so it doesn't eat your scene.
