The raffle is the overlay for handing something out: a key, a slot, a challenge. People enter by typing a word or by gifting, each gift can add extra tickets, and the draw runs with tension before the name lands. That tension is the product: without it, the winner would appear out of nowhere and there'd be no moment.
Everything it can do
- Entry by chat keyword, by gift, or both.
- One ticket per person plus whatever gifts add, at the coins-per-ticket rate you choose.
- A ticket cap per person, or a flat raffle where everyone has the same odds.
- Configurable roll time, with a fake-out ending, or an instant reveal.
- A trigger that fires at the moment of the reveal.
- The winner stays on screen as long as you want, or until you clear it.
- Remove the winner from the list so back-to-back draws don't repeat.
- Block anyone who already won another draw in the same stream.
- Test entrants that get drawn exactly like real ones.
Tickets or a flat raffle
With tickets per gift, whoever contributes has better odds and the raffle becomes an incentive. With a flat raffle, everyone has exactly the same odds and the prize belongs to the community, not to the biggest spender. Both are legitimate and it depends on what you're giving away; the per-person ticket cap is the middle ground.
Tension is the product
The roll time is what turns a draw into a moment of the stream: names go by, slow down, throw a fake-out ending, and the winner lands before it bursts. The instant reveal exists for when you're drawing ten things in a row and don't want ten ceremonies.
Drawing several times
If you're handing out several things, turn on removing the winner from the list so the next draw doesn't repeat. And if you want one stream to spread prizes across different people, block anyone who won an earlier draw in that session.
Step by step
- Open Raffle in the overlays section and add the source to your scene.
- Write the prize and the keyword to enter (leave it empty to enter by gifting only).
- Under Tickets, decide whether gifts add odds and from how many coins.
- Hit "Open sign-ups" and announce it.
- Close sign-ups and hit "Draw".
- Remove the winner from the list if you're drawing again.
FAQ
Can I let only gifters enter?
Yes: leave the entry keyword empty and turn on "a gift enters you". Only people who contribute get in.
What if I want the winner to get something automatically?
Tie a trigger to the reveal. It fires the moment the name lands, so you can celebrate with an alert, a disrupt or an in-game effect.
The raffle says there's nobody to draw
Nobody has entered yet, or you closed sign-ups before announcing them. You can add test entrants to rehearse the moment before going live.
