The screens cover the moments you're not there: the start, the break, the technical hiccup, the goodbye. Instead of a static image, you get six screens sharing one identity — there are twelve complete themes — with a countdown, your copy and your branding, and a button to put them on air.
Everything it can do
- Six screens: starting soon, be right back, intermission, technical difficulties, ending and announcement.
- Twelve complete themes, each carrying its identity across all six screens.
- Optional countdown with its own duration per screen, plus the copy for when time is up.
- Editable copy — eyebrow, title, subtitle — with a reset to the theme's own.
- Channel branding, a badge and socials in the footer, shared across all six.
- A custom accent color, or the one the theme provides.
- Configurable coverage: at zero, the game shows through.
- An animated background you can switch off if your PC is tight.
- Preview in 16:9 and 9:16, with text measuring the same in both.
- Extend a running countdown and clear the screen instantly.
One theme, six screens
The theme is the big decision: it changes all six at once, and changing it also affects whatever is on air at that moment. There's one for every channel — Aurora, Synthwave, Terminal, Arcade, Studio, Noir, Lofi, Cyber, Gothic, Bubble, Sports and Nebula — and on top of that you tune accent, copy and branding.
Edit one, broadcast another
Picking a screen opens it for editing and shows it in the preview; the play button is what puts it on air. They're deliberately separate: you can prepare the "ending" screen while "be right back" is broadcasting. The app reminds you which one is live so you don't edit blind.
The countdown
Each screen proposes its own duration, and while it runs you can extend it without cutting it. At zero the end copy shows, and you can ask the screen to clear itself after a while or to stay. With no countdown you get just the notice, no numbers.
Vertical and landscape at once
The preview has both framings because the same copy has to read in both. 9:16 is TikTok's; if you stream there, check that framing before calling it done.
Step by step
- Open Screens in the overlays section and add the source on top of everything, stretched across the scene.
- Pick the theme in the Theme tab.
- Under Branding set the channel name, the badge and your socials.
- Pick a screen and adjust its copy and its countdown.
- Hit play to put it on air, and "Clear" when you're back.
FAQ
Does the game show through?
Depends on the coverage. At zero the game shows and this stops being a screen; raise it as far as you want to cover. Useful for a notice that doesn't fully interrupt.
The animated background eats performance
Switch motion off in the Theme tab. The theme stays the same, the background just stops animating.
Can I change the default copy and go back?
Yes, there's a button to restore the theme's copy. Anything you leave empty uses the theme's text.
