Shoutout is an overlay for introducing other creators live. Someone types !so @channel, you get raided or a friend channel shows up in your chat, and your scene shows that channel in our own design: the video you assigned to it or, if it has none, its info. It isn't a menu item of its own: you'll find it in the Overlays gallery, under the «Chat & community» category.
Everything it can do
- Chat command !so @channel (!shoutout works too), renamable to whatever you like.
- Works with TikTok, Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Starvios channels.
- You fire it and, if you allow it, so can your moderators and VIPs.
- Automatic shoutout for whoever raids you, with a minimum viewer count.
- Friend channels: automatic shoutout the first time they chat in each stream.
- One video per channel, from your video library, with a max length; without a video it shows their avatar, name, game, followers and link.
- Five layouts (Card, Lower third, TV, Cinema and Poster) with position, style, heading, scale and volume.
- Per-channel cooldown so the same one doesn't repeat too soon.
- Optional chat message and, on Twitch, the platform's official shoutout.
- Live controls: «Fire» by hand, «What would show?» and «Cut» the one on screen.
What fires a shoutout
Each channel joins a queue and plays when the previous one ends. The per-channel cooldown keeps the same channel from showing twice in a row, except when you fire it yourself from the panel.
- The command: !so @channel uses the platform of the chat it's typed in; !so @channel kick (or any other platform) introduces a channel from another one.
- A raid: whoever raids you, as soon as they arrive, if they bring at least the viewers you set.
- A friend channel: the first time it chats in each stream.
- The «Fire» button in the live controls: no cooldown wait.
With a video or with their info
In the Videos tab you assign a video from your library to each channel you introduce often. Long videos are cut at the max length you choose. Channels without a video, or whose video doesn't load, show their info for the «Duration without video» time. The app doesn't look for clips on its own: you choose the video. With «What would show?» you check beforehand what a channel would look like.
- Card: header with avatar and name, and the video below.
- Lower third: a bar at the bottom with the channel and the video in a window above.
- TV: the video on a TV screen with the name plate.
- Cinema: a big screen in the center, with the heading above and the channel below.
- Poster: a vertical poster with the video or avatar on top and the name in large type.
In chat and on Twitch too
In the Chat tab you can have a chat message posted alongside the overlay, with variables like {name}, {url} or {category}. It's sent by that platform's chatbot, so the bot has to be able to write there; if you already use the chatbot's !so, keep this off so it isn't repeated. On Twitch, «Official Twitch shoutout» also fires the platform's own announcement with its follow button. Twitch only allows it while live, one every 2 minutes and not to the same channel within an hour.

- In Style, pick the layout, position and which details to show, then test with «Fire».
FAQ
Does it find the channel's clips automatically?
No. Each channel plays the video you assigned to it in the Videos tab. Channels without a video show their info: avatar, name, what they're playing, followers and link.
Who can use !so in my chat?
You, always. Moderators and VIPs only if you tick their boxes in the Command tab. Other viewers can't fire it.
What if someone misspells the channel name?
If the channel can't be found, it shows with just the name as typed. To check first, type it in the live controls and press «What would show?».
The official Twitch shoutout doesn't appear. Why?
Twitch only allows it while you're live, one every 2 minutes and not to the same channel within an hour. If you connected Twitch before this option existed, reconnect it once to grant the permission.
