Everything else in the app reacts to events: a gift arrived, a sub arrived. The VIP Circle reacts to people. You add the ones you want to greet by name — the regulars, the veterans, your long-time subs — and when they join the stream, contribute, or call themselves out, a ceremony built for them fires.
Everything it can do
- Members with a display name, their own title, an avatar and a private note only you see.
- Ranks with three stagings: chyron, glass plate and full-screen cinematic.
- Automatic promotion by fan club level, lifetime contribution, streams attended, days known or subscriber status.
- Per-member color, animation and sound, layered on top of whatever the rank gives.
- Custom layers for advanced cases: several pieces, on-screen text or a spoken line.
- Three triggers: on joining the stream, on contributing (with a minimum) and on a chat command.
- A personal keyword per member, on top of the module's shared command.
- Guards that protect the stream: per-member cooldown, ceremonies per minute and once-per-stream greeting.
- Bulk management: select several, move them between ranks or remove them from the Circle at once.
The rank sets the scene, the member adds the detail
Each rank decides how much screen the ceremony takes, and that difference is exactly what makes a high rank feel rare: if everyone got the same, it would mean nothing. The chyron barely interrupts, the plate is the normal case, and the cinematic — full-screen veil, emblem, particles — is reserved for the top. On top of that, each member can carry their own color, animation and sound.
- Chyron: leans in, says who it is, leaves.
- Plate: glass with an avatar ring and a light sweep.
- Cinematic: the one that stops the stream for a second.
Their own animation replaces the ceremony
If you give someone their own animation — their gif, image or video — THAT becomes their celebration and the rank's ceremony doesn't play. That's what you want when you've made a piece for that person. If it's a video, the ceremony stretches to let it finish even when their rank is shorter.
Promotion is automatic, demotion never happens
Each rank can carry automatic conditions: anyone who meets all of them joins on their own. The rule that matters is the opposite one: a rank is never taken away. A quiet month doesn't undo what someone earned. To shield someone from the rules, pin their rank; to keep their setup without honoring them, mark them excluded.
Keeping it rare
Recognition only works while it's scarce. That's what the guards in Settings are for: a per-member cooldown, a cap on ceremonies per minute, and the option to greet each member only once per stream. On a busy stream with no guards, the Circle turns into a conveyor belt of ceremonies and stops meaning anything.
Step by step
- Open VIP Circle from the menu, Audience section.
- Add members from the picker of viewers who already passed through your streams, or by typing their @.
- Give each one a title: the epithet is what makes it personal.
- Under Ranks set the staging and duration of each level, plus its promotion conditions.
- Pick their triggers: on join, on contribution, or with their own keyword.
- Review the guards in Settings and add the overlay URL to your streaming software.
FAQ
Does it replace normal alerts?
Only for its members and only if you enable "when they contribute": in that case the personal ceremony replaces the normal alert for that gift, bits or sub. For everyone else, alerts are unchanged.
If I remove someone from the Circle, do I lose their data?
They lose their ceremony, their title and their own media, but their viewer record is untouched: it keeps counting their streams, their messages and what they've contributed.
How many members can I have?
You can save as many as you want. The free plan stages the ceremony for the first members on the list; the app tells you when you have more than your plan covers.
